I design and fabricate jewelry out of sterling, fine silver, copper, brass, and gold. I occasionally incorporate beach stones, beach glass and precious gems into a piece of wearable art. I use techniques that range from ancient (forging metal) to very modern technology (metal clays); these involve hammering, annealing, soldering, riveting, sculpting, sintering, etc. I thrill at learning new techniques and figuring out new designs so the majority of my work is one of a kind building off of previously learned techniques. My pieces that combine ancient and modern techniques are the most exciting for me; they really make my mind buzz with new designs.
